BARRACK LANE

Order Architects has had a long involvement in the retention of Parramatta’s rich history. This project completed for Mr Edgerton in 1989 was for the preservation of three tiny wardens cottages built between 1842 and 1844 along Parramatta's oldest lane. The ensemble of heritage and archeology along with a sensitively designed infill office was awarded a Merit Award by the Australian Institute of Architects in 1988.
